Content policy

Content policy

The following defines content policy of my web-site regarding personal or business privacy information, or owned copyrighted materials.

Business privacy

I intentionally do not publish (i.e. skip, do not provide as example, and do not refer to possible sources somewhere else) any business-related, business-sensitive information. Any pieces of data presented are either scrambled or made-up. However, if you (as a person or organization) feel that information published is somewhat relevant to the information you protect, please inform me, and I will change or remove that information to the extent of our mutual satisfaction.

I also ask those who submit their comments to my web-site NOT to provide any information that could be treated as business-sensitive and private. If I’m suspicious about it I will moderate the submission.

Solutions and algorithms

I provide only generalized solutions that are not a commercial secret. Any business-specific aspects are removed. If a solution itself is a part of business implementation I do not provide it.

Sometimes I re-use solutions I developed in further projects as an open-source solution if they were developed and published as a free research that I made.

Generally, I discuss Client’s needs and come up with a unique solution that best fits the needs and could be implemented within a required timeframe.

Source code

The source code examples, function libraries, and “how to” examples published on my web-site are NOT the actual code that I used in implementation of any business project that I took, and they are not a solution that is ready for use. They represent my free investigation, learning, and practicing, and provided “as is” on the open-source basis.

If you want to use them in your work you will have to understand and refactor the code in order to create your own solution. Also make sure you accept and agree with Copyright and disclaimer.
